John, Paul, George and Ringo are together again in a limited-edition, screen-printed collection based on the animation art from The Beatles’ “Yellow Submarine.”
Designed by artist Tom Whalen, each collection features four 24″ x 30″ prints — one print dedicated to each member of The Beatles. The prints, which are offered via Dark Hall Mansion, are officially licensed.
The Limited-Edition run of 200 individually-numbered sets sells for $200 per set. Its color palette features rich oranges, golds, greens and purples.
A Special Psychedelia Edition printed with metallic inks, with each print signed by the artist, sold out with in the first 24 hours it was offered. Only 50 of those sets were offered at a price of $300 apiece.
Also available via Dark Hall Mansion are a two types of “Yellow Submarine” five-print folio sets: a Standard Limited-Edition Version (797 made) and a Variant Limted-Edition Variation (135 made). Each of the five prints in the folio set measures 18″ x 24,” is hand numbered and is housed in a decorative case (Yellow for the $300 Standard Edition; pink for the $450 Variant Edition). The folio prints feature different themes and designs than those produced for the larger prints.
The “Yellow Submarine” folio sets debuted in 2012. A third variation, known as the “Elite 68” set for the small number of sets that were produced, is sold out. It featured metallic inks and hand-signed individual prints.
