Brother Dege heads out on tour to support folk songs album

Brother Dege, the Cajun-born and Louisiana-raised leader of the band Santeria, is heading out on tour to support his slide-Dobro record “Folk Songs of The American Longhair.”

The album is produced by four-time Grammy winner Tony Daigle, who has worked with the likes of Dr. John, Gatemouth Brown and Bobby Charles.

“Folk Songs of The American Longhair” takes the listener on a mind-bending, soul-crushing slide guitar journey into the backroads of the Deep South. Legg composed 10 original tunes in the Delta-slide tradition, paying tribute to old masters while pushing into an apocalyptic future. Legg is an award-winning writer and musician from Lafayette, La.
