Web Poll Results: Your favorite '50s artists!

So, who made the ?50s fabulous for you? Jukebox-01-01.jpg

Seems the Goldminemag.com crowd loves the classics: Buddy Holly & The Crickets, Elvis Presley and Connie Francis each won their respective categories.

But, plenty of other artists had very respectable showings.
Ricky Nelson outpaced the remainder of the gents to take second place in that field ? no easy feat given the competition. Sam Cooke, Chuck Berry and Ol’ Blue Eyes himself, Frank Sinatra, tied for third among our crooners.

For the ladies, Patti Page took second, and Rosemary Clooney and Annette Funicello tied for a very respectable third place.

When it came to the musical groups, the Everly Brothers handily swept into second, with Bill Haley and the Comets coming in a distant third.

Here’s who you snubbed (no votes received):
? Pat Boone
? The Fleetwoods
? Fabian
