PJ Harvey premieres first video from new album

PJ Harvey premiered the first video from her forthcoming Let England Shake album on her Web site today (Monday, December 20th). The video is for the track “The Last Living Rose,” and it was directed by Seamus Murphy.

According to a press release that was posted on Harvey’s Web site, there will be videos made for every song on the album. All of the videos will be directed by Murphy. He traveled all over England when making the videos, recording video and still photos that capture the themes represented on Harvey’s album.

Let England Shake will be released in the UK on February 14th. Harvey starts her tour in support of the album four days later in Brussels.

There is no release date set for the album in the United States as of this writing.
