Seller’s Comments: Little Stanley on D.V. Records (Dick Vance) 00111, an original pressing from 1967. “Out of Sight Loving” and “Wanted”. Extremely rare, featured on Manship’s Rarest of the Rare. The record is visually in VG to Vg- condition, many light marks from not being stored properly in a sleeve. However, no deep marks and sound quality is excellent on my turntable.

Grading: Record: NM-, Sleeve: Very Good Plus (VG+)
Seller: Folk Arts Rare Records
Seller’s Comments: “Captain Marryat – s/t. Insanely Rare Original Private Press release on Thor Records!!!! 1974, Made in Scotland. Only 250 copies of these were pressed!!! There likely won’t be another copy of this hitting the market for another few years. And the music on this release is absolutely exceptional. This Scottish band from Glasgow played some very stellar Prog / Folk Psych. Please note the 39 cent price tag on the label, (ed: posted above) which I find quite comical. Only 250 copies of this exists!!! Vinyl: NM- (has an incredibly rich gloss to the vinyl, and only shows a very few incredibly light scratches & scuffs; Plays wonderfully!) Cover: VG+ (just shows some very minor crease wear and has a very small name written on the cover in ballpoint pen. This has no seam splits whatsoever and is in overall very nice shape.)”

Seller’s Comments: “THE BEATLES “THE BEATLES AND FRANK IFIELD ON STAGE”  “PORTRAIT COVER”!!! VEE JAY RECORDS VJLP -1085 “The Beatles And Frank Ifield On Stage”, authentic original September 18, 1964 issue MONO copy, Vee-Jay VJLP-1085! This is very very rarest of the Vee-Jay Beatles albums for it was the second and ultimate limited pressing of The Beatles & Frank Ifield On Stage. Because of poor sales on the original release Jolly What!, the solution was to repackage the album in such a way as to focus on the album’s strengths and downplay its weaknesses. This cover features the striking portrait of the Beatles previously used on the Love Me Do picture sleeve. The Beatles songs are prominently listed on the cover. This cover is known among Collectors as the “PORTRAIT COVER”. On the back cover, Vee-Jay used the same liner notes slick from the first issue of Jolly What! On the back cover there is original small store Price Sticker. Black labels (VJ1085.MR3, Spizer) with silver print and the large VJ logo with left justified artist-only credits. Its trail off areas include the following hand etched markings: the matrix number 64-3852 on Side 1 and 64-3853 on Side 2; the job number 6295 on Side 1 and 6295X on Side 2; and the date 1-18-64 and “URJ” on both sides. Both sides also contain the machine stamped Audio Matrix logo. MR logo is scratched so that it can not be read. This record was pressed from metal parts that were previously used Monarch Records, Los Angeles, California. Original Vee-Jay inner sleeve included. This extremely rare beautiful authentic copy!!! Hard to find a better copy of this. All records from my personal collection, collected for many years.”
