25th Anniversary Rock Hall now available on CD

Los Angeles, CA – The groundbreaking and critically acclaimed 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concerts are available for the first time in a variety of audio formats and configurations, including both CD and digital download. Released November 2nd through Time Life, these formats joins the already available DVD and Blu-ray releases, which have brought music’s biggest night to fans across the country. The DVD release of the legendary concerts has also received critical praise, including a 5-star review in Rolling Stone magazine.

Filmed over two nights at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, the concerts brought together a who’s who of rock ‘n’ roll history for once-in-a-lifetime performances and rare collaborations like Billy Joel teaming up with Bruce Springsteen for a rollicking rendition of “Born to Run” and Mick Jagger, Fergie and U2 taking on the Rolling Stones classic “Gimme Shelter.” The three-DVD set captures all 51 amazing performances that aired on the HBO special along with an additional 16 bonus performances not seen on TV.

The stellar lineup captured on The 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Anniversary Concerts includes sets by Crosby, Stills & Nash; Stevie Wonder; Paul Simon; Simon & Garfunkel; Aretha Franklin; Metallica; U2; Jeff Beck and Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band. Additional special guest appearances include Tom Hanks, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Smokey Robinson, John Legend, B.B. King, Sting, Dion, DiMucci, Little Anthony and the Imperials, Annie Lennox, Lou Reed, Ozzy Osbourne, Ray Davies, Patti Smith, Roy Bittan, Fergie, will.i.am, Buddy Guy, Billy Gibbons, Sam Moore, Tom Morello, John Fogerty and Darlene Love.

The audio release of The 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concerts is available in multiple CD formats, including separate two-disc sets for each night of the historic concerts and a four-disc set that captures both nights of amazing performances and includes several performances not available on the individual night releases. The concerts are also available for digital download on iTunes.

The 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concerts were originally released on DVD and Blu-ray on September 28th. The companion HBO special also received recognition when it took home two Emmys at this year’s Creative Emmy Awards in August.
