Auction News: Vintage picks, tickets and passes, posters, photos and more up for grabs at Rockin' Holiday Auction

The Rockin’ Holiday Auction, which ends Dec. 14, 2008, features hundreds of signed albums and photos, 500 vintage concert T-shirts, 1,000+ rare backstage passes and nearly 1,000 equally desirable guitar picks, concert and promotional posters, as well as an impressive host of unique music memorabilia including stage-used gear and attire from Danny Seraphine (Chicago), Kip Winger (Winger) and Alvin Lee (Ten Years After).

Additionally, famed photographer Don Aters is making available for the first time a never-before-published vintage concert photo collection, which includes photos taken at the Fillmore East in the late 1960s, including Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and The Doors. These exceptionally rare and limited-edition photos will be signed and numbered "1 of 1" and are guaranteed to be an instant collectible.

The rarity of the items combined with the vast number of artists featured in this collection makes this event appealing to everyone, whether you are a fan of The Beatles or Led Zeppelin or any artist in between.

The auction features nearly 400 auction lots with opening bid prices under $100.

"Our goal in putting the Rockin’ Holiday Auction together was to create a "fun" event that would be easy on the wallet and give our customers a big bang for their buck," explains Kelli van Gool of Backstage Auctions.

"We have a really rare 1975 Rolling Stones Memphis crew T-shirt and one of my personal favorites is an auction lot featuring a pair of Gene Simmons’ 1975 Alive tour guitar picks," says van Gool.
