Blondie, Social Distortion and Peter Frampton are among the artists who will be featured in the upcoming seven episodes of “Guitar Center Sessions,” a series of performance/interview programs filmed live before a studio audience in Hollywood, Calif.
The first episode, starring Sum 41, airs May 28 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on DIRECTV’S The 101 Network and in 3-D on DIRECTV’s n3D.
“In addition to the incredible live performances ‘Guitar Center Sessions’ captures, the conversations with these artists are about delving deeper and by providing a window into the creative process, inspiring other musicians,” says series host Nic Harcourt. “Hearing the stories behind some of the great artists of our time—from their perspective—is revealing and fascinating.”
