Breaking News: Cinderella postpones tour

Cinderella’s upcoming tour has been postponed.

Singer Tom Keifer’s left vocal cord has hemorrhaged, thereby making it impossible for him to sing in the immediate future, according to a news release issued by manager Tim Heyne.

While finishing the set in pre-production rehearsals on June 11, Keifer’s felt his throat give way, Heyne said. Officials expect it will be two to three weeks before the swelling and damage would recede to a point to where an assessment can be made as to whether Keifer will need surgery.

"Consequently, and again, most regretfully, we have no choice but to postpone the upcoming Cinderella tour until such time as Tom is ready tour again," Heyne said in a written statement.

Cinderella was scheduled to hit the road with Warrant, Lynch Mob and Lynam this summer. For more information, visit www.cinderella.net.
