Calling all record shops: Join Goldmine’s directory now!

Record stores, where are you? Collectors, where do you buy your records?

Goldmine is compiling a directory of record stores, and we want to make sure you’re included. (After all, what better way to plan a road trip for a concert or convention than being able to head to a free directory to find all the shops you should visit along the way?)

Be sure to include the shop’s name, address including city and state, as well as hours of operation, telephone number, and e-mail and Web site addresses (if there are any). And if you have the shop owner’s name? Even better!

  3. Having grown up in southern California shopping at Wenzel’s, Wallach’s Music City, Licorice Pizza and Sound Spectrum, I now live in the midwest and my favorite is Zzz Records, 2200 Ingersoll, Des Moines, IA 50312, phone (515) 284-1401, website http://www.zzzrecords.com.
    Owner is Nate Niceswanger and one of the best things about ZZZ is that Nate has kept the local record swap active and regular.
