Crossing Simon and Garfunkel’s ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ once again, in style

“Bridge Over Troubled Water,” considered by many to be the crowning achievement in the career of Simon and Garfunkel, is getting the deluxe 40th-anniversary treatment from Columbia/Legacy.

The package, due in digital and physical form on March 8, will include the original 11-song album, plus a DVD containing the 1969 TV special “Songs of America” as well as a new documentary featuring fresh interviews with Paul Simon, Art Garfunkel and their “Bridge Over Troubled Water” collaborators.

The accompanying 24-page booklet has rare photos and separate, detailed liner notes about the album production and the “Songs of America” special.
