James Taylor & Carole King “Troubador Reunion Tour” raises over $1.3 million for charity

In a statement released today on the official James Taylor website:
Thank You For Helping To Raise Over $1.3M For Charity!

Carole and James would like to say, “Thank you!”

You have helped the “Troubadour Reunion” tour raise $1.3 million to benefit local and national charities through the purchase of Tickets-For-Charity Stage Seats!

“We’re thrilled to be raising awareness about two important environmental groups Natural Resources Defense Council and Alliance For The Wild Rockies that we’ve supported for years,” says Carole King. ” But an essential part of this process with Tickets-For-Charity has been offering fans the opportunity to support causes that they’re passionate about and organizations having a real impact on their local community.”

The money is being raised through special packages offered to fans, including stage seating, pre-show sound check sessions, private VIP receptions and a commemorative tour book along their Troubadour Reunion Tour.

Their tour continues until July 20, and VIP Stage Seat Packages are still available through Tickets-For-Charity.
