Johnny Marr announces US tour dates

Johnny Marr, who has played with The Smiths, The Pretenders, The The, Electronic, Modest Mouse, and The Cribs, has announced the dates for his first solo tour of the United States. The 18-date tour will take Marr coast to coast and also includes a date in Toronto as well as two shows with fellow Mancunians New Order. Marr will be promoting his first solo album, The Messenger, on the tour. The album will be released on February 25th in the UK and the following day in the United States.
