Beach Boys mastermind Brian Wilson will be presented with NOW Magazine’s inaugural lifetime achievement award June 16 as part of the North by Northeast Music Festival and Conference (NXNE) in Toronto.

The ceremony, to be held at the Hyatt Regency Toronto, will be open to the public, with NXNE pass holders receiving priority entry.

Wilson’s NXNE performance is scheduled for June 18. Other NXNE 2011 acts include Devo, CJ Ramone and Men Without Hats.
