Steven Van Zandt to be honored at annual NYC fundraiser

Steven Van Zandt, longtime Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band guitarist and Soprano’s star, will be honored at The Kristen Ann Carr Fund’s annual “A Night to Remember” fundraiser on April 24.

The event includes an opportunity for guests to bid on high-profile items like a Springsteen signed 1952 reissue Telecaster guitar, two tickets to the 2011 Grammy’s, a 2011 NCAA Final Four package, and much more. The charity event will be held at NYC’s Tribeca Grill.

The Kristen Ann Carr Fund honors the life of Springsteen co-manager Barbara Carr and her husband Dave Marsh’s daughter whose life was claimed by cancer at the age of 21. The Fund has established a comprehensive sarcoma laboratory at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, provides sarcoma fellowships in both surgery and oncology at MSKCC and supports programs designed to help teenagers and young adults with cancer and other serious illnesses.
