Englishman tour starts Dec. 1, 2010

EnglishmanThe Kentucky folkster Englishman (Andrew English) has announced a winter tour to support his new eponymous album.

The album, which was produced by Justin Craig (These United States), will be released Nov. 23, 2010. It was cut to tape in a converted barn English helped to build on a rural Ohio farm. The tour begins Dec. 1, 2010.

Confirmed dates, cities and venues include:

Dec. 1, 2010: Bloomington, Ind., The Bishop

Dec. 2: Lexington, Ky., Al’s Bar

Dec. 3: Indianapolis, (venue to be announced)

Dec. 4: Rock Island, Ill., Daytrotter session

Dec. 4: Madison, Wis., University of Wisconsin

Dec. 5: Chicago, Ill., (venue to be announced)

Dec. 6: Detroit, PJ’s Lagerhouse

Dec. 7: Pittsburgh, Belvedere’s

Dec. 8: Philadelphia, (venue to be announced)

Dec. 10: New York, (venue to be announced)

Dec. 11: Brooklyn, N.Y., Pete’s Candy Store

Dec. 12: Richmond, Va., Ipanema.
