Butcher Cover, rare Hendrix poster offered via SeriousToyz

Don't let the auction house's name fool you. A variety of Fab Four and Elvis Presley collectibles, a Butcher Cover and several rock and roll posters are featured in Serious Toyz' Vintage Toy and Collectible Auction No. 55.
The auction is divided into two segments: Character and Classic Collectibles closing May 30, 2013, and Toy Vehicles closing May 31, 2013.

An unpeeled, second-state cover for The Beatles' Yesterday and Today" album — vinyl not included — had attracted a couple of bidders willing to surpass the minimum bid of $995. A 2-inch split to the cover's spine has been repaired, according to the lot description.
A retail display card for Beatles Cellophone Self-Adhesive tape — complete with all 12 rolls of tape still attached — is also up for auction. The rolls are in factory-sealed condition on the unpunched display card, which as a $750 minimum bid.
For the first time, SeriousToyz is offering vintage rock and roll posters from the 1960s and 1970s. Leading those lots is a rare, large-size, first printing Jimi Hendrix Experience concert poster designed by Gunther Kieser and published by Darien House. The poster was for a Jan. 15, 1969, concert in Stuttgart, West Germany that was canceled. It measures 33 inches x 46 7/8 inches. Several bidders had pushed the lot past its $495 minimum bid.
