Queen + Adam Lambert start North American summer tour

Vocalist Adam Lambert joined Queen founders Brian May (guitars) and Roger Taylor (drums) for the first date of the tour Thursday at Chicago's United Center.

The Queen + Adam Lambert summer tour is off and running.

Lambert joined Queen founders Brian May (guitars) and Roger Taylor (drums) for the first date of the tour Thursday at Chicago's United Center. Queen's original bassist, John Deacon, retired after the death of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury on Nov. 24, 1991.
