Judas Priest presented with plaque celebrating 50 years and 50 million albums sold

Judas Priest have been presented with a special plaque commemorating an incredible 50 years in music and over 50 million album sales worldwide. The presentation was made on the eve of the band’s induction in to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Los Angeles last month.

Judas Priest celebrated 50 years earlier on this year with the release of Reflections – 50 Heavy Metal Years of Musicwhich was available on double 180-gram red vinyl in a gatefold sleeve. The collection boasted 16 tracks covering their 50-year career, including remastered studio recordings and seven previously unreleased live cuts from the band’s archive.

Goldmine also celebrated the band's 50th anniversary with a cover story in the Feb-March 2022 issue (below) and a collector's edition issue with a special 8x10 professional photo print of Rob Halford (which is now sold out).
