Goldmine premieres the latest video of the song "The Birds Are Dying" from Butthole Surfer Paul Leary, below.

Off the latest The History of Dogs, Revisited album, "The Birds Are Dying" is described by Leary like this:

"Nature is cruel. We humans have only added to the cruelty. 'The Birds Are Dying' came from a dark period of my life. I still think about those birds, looking for a place to hide. I, too, was looking for a place to hide."

Another album song, "Speedo Man," was described by Brooklyn Vegan as "a gonzo, operatic track that really drills the title home"

A reissue of Leary's 1991 solo debut The History of Dogs, the Revisited album, containing bonus tracks, came out today.

You can purchase The History of Dogs: Revisited on gold vinyl in the Goldmine store
