The famed keyboardist for Vanilla Fudge, Mark Stein, premieres his video of the song "Let's Pray for Peace" exclusively with Goldmine, to benefit the people of Ukraine. Stein's latest solo album, There's a Light came out via Deko Entertainment late last year. Filled with Mark’s trademark vocals, piano and Hammond B3 riffs, the solo album delivered strong social content and convicting performances, from “We Are One” and “Racism” to his classic takes on “Ball of Confusion” and “People Got To Be Free.” American Songwriter claimed that “Stein sounds as inspired as ever, and the message he shares is underscored by the clarity of both his passion and purpose.”

It was Stein's keyboards that gave the dramatic touch to Vanilla Fudge's hit version of "You Keep Me Hangin' On" and an eerie poignancy to the eight-minute cover of The Beatles song "Eleanor Rigby" (which George Harrison reportedly considered as a favorite). Some 50 years on, Stein continues to expand his rock and roll roots with solo material that covers the difficulties of these times.

Now, in a charitable reach to the people of Ukraine, Stein and Deko Entertainment release the heartfelt "Let's Pray for Peace." All the proceeds of the song will go to benefit Ukrainian refugees through UNICEF. Stein had this to say, "I wrote ‘Let's Pray for Peace’ during the time the world was being ravaged by terrorist attacks…today, it's my dedication to Ukraine." Deko president, Bruce Pucciarello, continues, “This Ukrainian news footage is personal to me. Genocides become reality when we let bad people distract us from our commonality to justify aggression. This video is Mark’s love letter to us all, reminding us how the healing starts. Let’s pray for peace. Tonight.”Please donate here
