Wolfgang Van Halen slams "disgusting, pathetic" Eddie Van Halen 'Autopsy' doc

Late guitarist’s son angered about the release of REELZ' "Autopsy: The Last Hours of Eddie Van Halen."

Wolfgang Van Halen posted on Twitter on Thursday regarding a June 5th doc coming up on REELZ in their 'Autopsy: The Last Hours of...' series of programming. "F--- @ReelzChannel, f--- everyone that works on this show, and f--- you if you watch it." 

He went on to say, "F---ing disgusting trying to glamorize someone’s death from cancer. Pathetic and heartless,"

"Good Christ this is disgusting," Wolfgang's mother and Eddie Van Halen's ex-wife Valerie Bertinelli replied, using her Twitter username @Wolfiesmom.

REELZ is standing behind its show that explores the last hours of Eddie Van Halen's life. REELZ, in a statement following Bertinelli and Wolfgang's public social media comments, replied that the doc episode, "responsibly" explored the "circumstances" around Van Halen's death." 

The description of the show by REELZ reads, "If caught early, Eddie’s disease had reasonable survival rates, so what exactly happened? Now renowned forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Hunter will analyze every detail of his life in order to piece together what else may have been going on in his body, ultimately leading to his untimely death."
