“I Feel You,” the new studio album by trumpet legend Herb Alpert and singer Lani Hall, is due Feb. 8 from Concord Jazz.

Recorded in Los Angeles, “I Feel You” features renditions of two Beatles songs, “Here Comes the Sun” and “Blackbird.” Also included is a cover of Van Morrison’s “Moondance,” plus what’s being called a “reinvented” version of the Tijuana Brass favorite “What Now My Love.”

“The songs on ‘I Feel You’ reflect honesty, and our mutual commitment to all the songs we do together is to make them sound fresh," said Alpert in a news release issued Dec. 14.

Hall and Alpert currently have a handful of concert dates scheduled in support of “I Feel You,” including a Feb. 20 show in New York.
