Russell, John book first date of ‘Union’ tour

Leon Russelland Elton John are hitting the road this fall in support of their new album, “The Union,” due Oct. 19 on Decca Records.

Russell and John will perform Nov. 3 at the Hollywood Palladium. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. PT on Aug. 6; members of John’s Rocket Club will have the opportunity to buy a maximum of two tickets to the show starting at 9 a.m. PT that day.

John’s band includes Davey Johnstone (guitar), Bob Birch (bass), John Mahon (percussion), Nigel Olsson (drums) and Kim Bullard (keyboards). Russell's band features Chris Simmons (guitar), Jack Wessel (bass), Brandon Holder (drums) and Beau Charron (guitar, steel guitar).
