On July 31 the Journey founder and Santana sideman Neal Schon will offer some of the most prized pieces from his extraordinary collection – among them, the iconic black Gibson Les Paul he played in studios and stages while Schon, Steve Perry and Journey ruled the charts and arenas. The guitar heard on “Open Arms,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Who’s Crying Now,” “Wheel in the Sky” and “Don’t Stop Believin’” and all the other songs you’ve had memorized for decades.

Here, too, is the Guild acoustic Schon used to write “Wheels in the Sky” from 1977’s Infinity, the first record with Perry as lead singer. And among the numerous gems here you will find the Gibson Les Paul Goldtop he bought in 1971, when a 17-year-old Neal joined Santana just in time for its third studio album, which featured the hits "Everybody's Everything" and "No One to Depend On.”
