Chickenfoot is hitting the road again.
The "A Different Devil Tour" is in support of the band's second album, "Chickenfoot III." The tour kicks off May 4, 2012 and follows November's sold-out "Road Test Tour."
The supergroup features Joe Satriani on guitar, former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar and drummer Kenny Aronoff, who's worked in John Mellencamp's backing band and toured with Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Chickenfoot's founding drummer, Chad Smith, is out doing what he refers to his "day job" — touring with the Red Hot Chili Peppers (which he explains in this video).
“The Foot are road tested and ready to roll and can’t wait to play the new songs for the fans!” says front man Sammy Hagar.
