The shows will take place on May 22-23, 2008. Limited tickets for the pair’s Troubadour shows are available for $200 apiece at Ticketmaster.com, starting at 1 p.m. PST April 11, 2008.

In addition to their catalog of chart-topping hits, the concerts at the Troubadour will feature rarely played material from some of Daryl Hall and John Oates’ early albums.

The duo's 1973 performance at the Troubadour was their first in Los Angeles.

“John and I have a lot of great memories associated with performing at the Troubadour, since it was our first show in L.A.,” Hall said. “It’s like going back to where it all began for us. We’ve always had an enthusiastic following in Los Angeles, and this is a chance for our fans to see us up close and personal in an intimate setting.”

Daryl Hall and John Oates’ most recent appearance in the area was summer 2007, when they were the headliner for two nights at the Hollywood Bowl.

Most recently, Hall has performed with KT Tunstall and the Gym Class Heroes’ Travis McCoy on his monthly Web cast, "Live From Daryl’s House" (www.livefromdarylshouse.com.)

Hall and Oates are scheduled to be honored as BMI icons on May 20, 2008. They will join the elite group that includes the Bee Gees; Crosby, Stills & Nash; Paul Simon; Merle Haggard; Brian Wilson; Willie Nelson; James Brown; Ray Davies; Carlos Santana and Dolly Parton.
