“It’s About You,” a John Mellencamp documentary shot during his six-week summer 2009 tour with Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson, will premiere March 12 at the film festival/conference portion of South by Southwest in Austin, Texas.

Filmmakers Kurt and Ian Markus shot their movie in Super8 as Mellencamp recorded his “No Better Than This” album at three historic locations utilizing a single microphone and a mono tape recorder more than a half-century old.
