KISS shifts into high gear for UNICEF

MINI Countryman vehicles depicting the band members’ painted faces will be auctioned to assist children in Japan

Four custom-painted MINI Countryman vehicles with KISS-inspired designs — each representing one of the band member’s distinct makeup features — will be up for bid during a 10-day eBay charity auction that begins May 29.

Proceeds from the auction, along with MINI USA’s proceeds from the sale of its KISS vehicle wraps, will be donated to UNICEF to help children in Japan as well as other emergency relief efforts worldwide.

“Our hearts go out to the people of Japan in this time of great tragedy,” KISS bassist/singer Gene Simmons said. “We wanted to help and also to provide a real way for the KISS Army to get involved. UNICEF raises money to help children who are still coping with the effects of these disasters, and also supports other very important emergency relief efforts around the world. Join the KISS Army in giving.”

MINI USA's KISS vehicle wraps, which were revealed at this year’s New York International Auto Show, can be ordered now.
