The Simpsons' "Treehouse Of Horror," their annual Halloween horror comic series, is out and this year's issue features musical icons Motörhead.
The series always features three stories, written and illustrated by some of the most famous people in the comic book business. This year's issue, #16, includes the story “Homer Goes To Hell.” The online description says “Metal music maestro, Lemmy, takes Homer on a hard rockin' heavy metal trip to Hell! Together they face the dreaded darkside.” Phil and Mikkey are along for the perilous ride.
As Motörhead's legendary founding member, Lemmy is one of the most respected and influential figures in the rock world today. Add to Lemmy the Welsh guitar-genius that is Philip Campbell, and the energetic flurry of skinsmanship that is Mikkey Dee on drums, and you have the baddest, leanest and strongest power trio in rock'n'roll today.
One of the most respected rock bands in the world, as well as Grammy award winners, Motörhead continue their relentless boot-stomp forward, celebrating their 35th anniversary. This Halloween, the Simpsons go along for the ride.
As noted by Lemmy, Bart means beer in German.
