The '70s may be long past, but one of the decade's most memorable singer-songwriters — Barry Manilow — is still very much in the here and now with a new DVD and an upcoming tour.
Manilow performs live in his old Brooklyn stomping grounds in his wonderfully entertaining television special, "Barry Manilow: Songs From The Seventies." The special was filmed in September 2007 at the old Navy Yard in Brooklyn, "right down the block from where I grew up in Williamsburg," Manilow explains onstage.

Feb. 9: Washington, D.C., Verizon Center
