Dream Theater

Prog-metal pioneers Dream Theater are hitting the road with Opeth, Between the Buried and Me and 3 for a 21-date North American Tour to promote the band's new album.

Greatest Hit (.... and 21 Other Pretty Cool Songs) drops April 1 on Rhino Records. The two-disc album features rare edits, B-sides and three new Kevin Shriley mixes.

The U.S. tour kicks off May 2 at Los Angeles' Gibson Amphitheatre; it concludes June 1 in Tampa, Fla. The Mexico and Puerto Rico dates will be Dream Theater with special guests Between the Buried And Me. (Opeth and 3 won't appear). Tour dates and venues in North America include:

Absentstar is on the road to support its new CD, Sea Trails, which drops April 15 on Canvasback Music/Columbia Records. It is touring with Third Eye Blind.
