Rookie of the Year is heading out on tour to support is upcoming album, Sweet Attention, which drops Aug. 26 on One Eleven Records.

Rookie of the Year began as a solo project by frontman and vocalist Ryan Dunson. Over the past three years, it evolved into a collaborative effort, thanks to the addition of Mike Kamerman and Brendon Schade on guitar and backing vocals, Pat Murphy on bass and Mick Parsons on drums.

Tracks from the band's debut LP, The Goodnight Moon, were included on MTV shows "The Hills" and "Newport Harbour."
