Tour News: Smashing Pumpkins get ready for Europe

The Smashing Pumpkins have finished up the U.S leg of their tour and are ready to cross the pond for shows throughout Europe in 2008.

The Smashing Pumpkins will return to the U.K and Europe for a major arena headlinging tour starting Jan. 27, 2008, at Arena in Belgrade, Serbia.

Shows also are planned throughout Europe before the tour wraps March 3 in Helsinki. The tour effort is in support of the band's latest album, Zeitgeist. The Smashing Pumpkins — singer-songwriter and guitarist Billy Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin — have been appearing on the road with Jeff Schroeder (guitar), Ginger Reyes (bass) and Lisa Harriton (keyboards).
