LOS ANGELES – Trans-Siberian Orchestra created a contemporary holiday classic with its multi-platinum trilogy of Christmas concept albums. And for more than 20 years, fans have flocked to TSO’s performances of these celebrated albums. The pandemic may have sidelined the band’s popular holiday tour this year, but that hasn’t stopped TSO from finding new ways to share its epic yuletide music.

The festivities begin with the return of THE CHRISTMAS TRILOGY. This collection, which has been out of print for several years, gathers the entire trilogy – Christmas Eve and Other Stories (1996), The Christmas Attic (1998) and The Lost Christmas Eve (2004). As a bonus, it also includes The Ghosts of Christmas Eve (1999), a DVD that adds a stunning visual element to TSO’s vivid sound. Updated with new artwork, the 3-CD/DVD set will be available tomorrow for $39.98.

In addition, selections from the trilogy will be featured in a series of video visualizers available on YouTube. Several are online now, including one for “Christmas Jam.” Additional visualizers will be released as Christmas approaches, with the final one – “Christmas Bells, Carousels, & Time” – set to arrive on Christmas Day.

Thankfully, fans who want to see TSO live this year, won’t be left in the cold. The band will keep its rock holiday tradition alive by bringing a live performance right into fans’ homes with “Christmas Eve and Other Stories Live In Concert,” TSO’s first-ever livestream event. The show promises all-new staging of the group’s beloved album, Christmas Eve and Other Stories. The livestream, available December 18-20, will also include pre-show content, behind-the-scenes footage and classic interview segments. Tickets are on sale now at www.tsolivestream.com.

TSO’s story began in 1996 when renowned rock producer Paul O’Neill (Aerosmith, Savatage) formed the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Since then, the band has played approximately 2,100 concert dates for more than 17 million fans and has sold in excess of 12 million albums and DVDs.
