Universal Music preps deluxe editions of first three Kinks albums

Two-disc sets come with rarities and more

Universal Music Enterprises will release two-disc deluxe sets of the first three albums by The Kinks — “Kinks” (1964), “Kinda Kinks” (1965) and “The Kink Kontroversy” (1965) — on April 19.

“Kinks” also comes with the entire album in mono, plus the “Kinks-Size” EP; “Kinda Kinks” includes the EP “Kwyet Kinks,” the single “See My Friends” and several songs the band had never released; and “The Kink Kontroversy” features an additional 17 selections.
