William Shatner of Star Trek fame (Captain Kirk) talks about his latest album, The Blues, a tribute to the blues, melding Shatner's thespian talent with legendary musical accompaniment. Musical guests like Deep Purple guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, Pat Travers, Albert Lee, Steve Cropper, members of Canned Heat, James Burton of Elvis Presley fame, all dazzle while Shatner moans and groans along with his own blues pain.

Shatner also discusses his 2004 hit, a cover of Pulp's "Common People," produced by Ben Folds and sung with Joe Jackson, and his Beatles rendition of "Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds" released back in 1968.
