Letter from the Editor: Readers, speak your minds

Goldmine's Web site and magazine offer plenty of ways to interact, share their views and connect with other collectors.

For years now, Goldmine readers, courtesy of the Please Mr. Postman page, have had the opportunity to express their opinions on everything under the sun.

Some lively debates have taken place here, and there will, most assuredly, be more banter in the years ahead. But, there’s also another place where readers can go to let the world know what they think.

If you haven’t already, take a moment to visit the Goldmine forum section of Here, you’ll be able to converse with a wide range of people on any number of topics, from collecting questions to how people feel about the new Metallica album. We’re hoping readers take advantage of this. One of the problems with a print publication is that not every letter is going to get published. We simply do not have the space to get to them all. That’s not an issue with our forums.

What’s more, the forum is interactive. You can chat with other readers who have similar interests or get into an argument about prog rock or Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductees, or anything else music related. So, take a visit to the forum. I think you’ll find it interesting and, for collectors, possibly even educational. You can share vinyl finds with others or trade tips about caring for your records.

And while you’re there, why not take in a podcast in our multimedia section or listen to Goldmine Radio. I think you’ll enjoy them.
