3 finds The Weeklings casting aside most of the overt Beatleisms of their previous records in favor of a lean, harmony-rich power pop sound. “I Want You Again” (nice little sonic nod to Badfinger at the close of this one) and “In the Moment” are near-perfect examples of their way with a tune and they're the highlights of a wonderful effort. The Chuck Berry-influenced “1,000 Miles Away” and covers of “Baby You’re a Rich Man” and “Friday on My Mind” (with a guest lead vocal from Peter Noone) are cool as well.
